NABARD Dy MD assures India facing minimal tension in agriculture sector because of West Asia War

New Delhi, June 13, 2026 (ANI): During an exclusive interview with ANI, NABARD Deputy Managing Director Ajay Kumar Sood said that despite rising tensions in West Asia, India is expected to face minimal impact on its agriculture sector. He noted that domestic buffer stocks of wheat and rice remain robust, food inflation was subdued in the last financial cycle, and the government has assured fertilizer support through the next financial cycle
