Qatar's real estate trading reaches QR583.1 million in one week

Doha [Qatar], October 2: Qatar's real estate market recorded a total trading volume of QR583.1 million during the week from September 20 to 24, driven by sales of residential units, vacant land, houses and commercial properties, according to the Ministry of Justice.
The total value of real estate sales contracts registered with the Real Estate Registration Department during the five-day period reached QR516.36 million, while sales of residential units accounted for an additional QR66.74 million.
The figures highlight continued activity across Qatar's property market, with transactions spanning a wide range of property categories and locations across the country.
According to the department's weekly real estate bulletin, the properties traded during the period included vacant land, houses, residential buildings, a service building, commercial buildings and residential units.
Sales activity was recorded across several municipalities, including Al Rayyan, Doha, Umm Salal, Al Wakrah, Al Daayen, Al Khor and Al Dhakira, and Al Shamal.
Transactions were also registered in key real estate developments and areas such as Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Al Wukair, Al Gharafa, Al Kharayej and Ghar Thuaileb, reflecting the geographical spread of property market activity across established residential neighbourhoods and emerging urban developments.
The latest figures represent an increase in total trading value compared with the previous reported period. Real estate transactions registered through sales contracts exceeded QR370 million between September 13 and 17.
The weekly performance provides an overview of activity in Qatar's real estate sector, which continues to see transactions across residential, commercial and land segments.
The Ministry of Justice publishes weekly real estate transaction data to provide market participants and the public with insights into property sales activity across the country.
