Gold edges higher from two-month low

New York [US], October 9: Gold prices edged higher on Friday.
Spot gold rose 0.3% to $4,147.77 per ounce by 00:43 GMT, after hitting a two-month low on Wednesday. U.S. gold futures for December delivery climbed 0.4% to $4,172.70.
Among other precious metals, silver gained 0.5% to $59.62 per ounce, platinum rose 1.4% to $1,656.30, and palladium advanced 1.1% to $1,135.25.
