Pakistan confirms 7,586 new COVID-19 cases

Islamabad (Pakistan), January 24: Pakistan confirmed 7,586 new COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Sunday.
The NCOC said the country has conducted 24,532,952 tests so far, confirming 1,367,605 cases in total.
Over the last 24 hours, 647 patients have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,268,245, said the NCOC.
The center reported 20 more deaths from the pandemic, bringing the total death toll to 29,097.
Pakistan's southern Sindh province is the most affected in the country with 523,774 infections, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 462,323 infections.
